Alyssa is a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) with six years of experience in animal care. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Virginia Tech in 2019 and later completed the Veterinary Technology program at Blue Ridge Community College, becoming licensed in 2023. 

Her professional interests include surgical nursing, anesthesia monitoring, and client education—areas where she enjoys combining technical skill with compassionate care.

Outside of work, she lives with her family on a small beef cattle farm, where they also have goats and chickens. At home, they have two beagles, Riley and Caroline, who were once teaching dogs at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine.
