Veterinary Assistant

Lacie Lacks

Lacie discovered her passion for veterinary medicine while working with an equine veterinarian. After three years in equine practice, she enrolled in Penn Foster College to pursue her Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology and is expected to graduate in 2027.

Following the retirement of the equine veterinarian she worked with, Lacie joined the team at Corban Veterinary Services. She has developed a strong interest in dental procedures, wound management, and caring for hospitalized patients.

One of Lacie’s most memorable wound care cases is her own pit bull, Phoenix. Phoenix arrived at Corban at approximately five days old with a severe burn on her back. With dedicated care from Lacie and the veterinary team, Phoenix made a full recovery.

Outside of work, Lacie enjoys spending time at home with her husband and their animals, which include three dogs, two cats, chickens, turkeys, and ducks. They enjoy being outdoors and spending time exploring their property together.
